Dear Staff and Students.
Recently, there have been some unscrupulous individuals who have been contacting students in various ways in an attempt to borrow money and commit fraud. Unfortunately, some of our students have been victimized. In order to prevent other students from falling into the trap of fraud again, please pay attention to the following matters:
Travel with a companion: When you are out and about, try to travel with a companion to take care of each other.
Stay calm: If you are approached by a stranger who asks for help, stay calm and do not trust them. If you are on campus, direct them to the campus security office or call the military training center.
Notify your school: If you or someone close to you has been a victim of fraud, contact your school immediately so we can help you deal with it.
We have compiled a list of 8 common scams that tertiary students fall victim to: installment payment cancellation, fake online auctions, fake investments, phishing newsletters, fake love dating, guess who I am, fake prosecutors, and fake job applications, etc. Please pay attention to this list and raise your alertness!
You may also call the 165 Anti-Fraud Hotline for verification and assistance.
The school's anti-fraud acceptance area is also available:
Telephone: 03-5131339, 0972-705757, 02-28261100
E-mail: safe@nycu.edu.tw
Please remain vigilant and work together to maintain the safety and harmony of the campus. If you have any needs, please feel free to contact the school, we will do our best to serve you!
